INFORMATION

Location:
One-half mile east of Interstate 25, off exit 242 along the north side of State Highway 165.

Hours of Operation:

Every Saturday,
9 AM to 11 AM
Summer Hours
(After 4 April)
8AM to 11 AM

Closures:

The collection center will be closed on the Saturdays before Easter, Labor Day, and Christmas, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and the Saturday before Christmas. The center will also close if there is inclement weather such as snow, excessive rainfall, or high winds.

Our Mission is to provide a local recycling center that allows everyone a place to recycle marketable resources.

Our History Thanks to the personal efforts of Jimi Gadzia, our recycling center started in 1991 and has now grown to serve a large community of recyclers of all ages. While many of our supporters come from Placitas, others come from Bernalillo, El Llanito, Santa Ana Pueblo, Algodones and Rio Rancho. We want to thank everyone for making this effort an ongoing success!
